General Educational Development (G.E.D.) Program |
The General Educational Development (G.E.D.) Program is designed for students who have not completed the traditional high school course of study. It provides individualized instruction with personalized learning plans. The program is designed so that self paced techniques may be utilized. Instructional strategies focus on the needs of the non-traditional student.
Instruction is designed for open entry/exit of students. The amount of time a student spends in the program varies depending on student needs. If interested in the GED Program contact Dr. George Willey at 697-3512.
Classes are held at Yoe High School on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. Interested adults can begin the course at any time.

English as a Second Language (ESL) Adult Program
|
The English is a Second Language Program is designed for adults who desire to learn conversational English. The program is structured to meet the needs of both beginning English speakers as well as those who desire to acquire greater mastery of the language. Teacher as well as computer-based instruction is used to assist students in the program.
Instruction is designed for entry of new students on an ongoing basis. The amount of time need to complete the program is based upon the individual learner and his/her desired level of English proficiency. If interested in ESL Program, feel free to report to the Ben Milam Elementary Library on Monday and Tuesday nights from 5:00-7:00 PM. |
