Linda Richter

Mrs. Linda Richter has resided in Cameron ISD for 49 years. Best known as
“Coach Richter”, she was elected to the Cameron ISD School Board in 2024.

Upon graduation from Thrall High School, Mrs. Richter attended and
graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.

She retired after teaching and coaching at Cameron ISD for 40 years. She
and her husband Mike have 3 daughters, Kerri and husband John Hillman,
Stephanie and husband Billy Mack, and Amber and husband Jonathan Weed.

Mrs. Richter is the proud grandmother to 8 grandchildren: Kensi, Jaysi,
Logan, Andrew, Emily, Luke, Natalie and Anna. She enjoys attending her
grandkids’ activities as well as traveling, sports, and playing the piano.

After serving Cameron ISD as a teacher and coach, Mrs. Richter is dedicated
to supporting the children of Cameron by serving on the school board. Her
experience in education and her commitment to the students and staff of
Cameron ISD gives her great insight, allowing her to be a positive
contributing member of the board.

Mrs. Richter believes our kids are our future and strives to help them be
successful in all their endeavors. After growing up watching her parents serve
the school and community, she is honored to continue in that serving
tradition.
